يحتفل العدد الأول من ورد بأعمال فنانين وفنانات من مختلف أنحاء المملكة، والتخصصات، والأعمار. تتنوع أعمالهم من القصائد إلى الفن الرقمي، ومن المقالات إلى فن الكولاج. كما يعتبر منبرًا لمشاركة أفكارهم وأعمالهم مع كل مهتم بالفنون. تبدأ سلسلة المقابلات في العدد الأول مع الفنانة أروى النعمي عن بداية رحلتها في عالم الفن ورأيها في تطور الساحة الفنية السعودية.

The first issue of Ward celebrates the work of Saudi artists from all over the Kingdom, majors, and ages. Their work ranges from poems to digital art and from articles to collage art. Additionally, it is a platform to share their ideas and work with art-lovers. Ward's Interviews Series begins in the first issue with Arwa Alneami on her journey in the world of art and thoughts upon the development of the Saudi art scene.
