Documenting the Saudi art scene from Tabuk since 2017

Ward was founded in 2017 as an art e-magazine, focusing mainly on the work of Tabuk artists because art spaces in Saudi Arabia continue to be limited to major cities and with content that is rarely available in Arabic. Later in 2017, Ward released its first digital issue, which featured artists from all over the Kingdom. After releasing digital issues monthly, Ward expanded its platform beyond digital issues to include art exhibitions, workshops, a book club, and other events.

Ward hopes to contribute to documenting the growing art scene in Saudi Arabia and spotlight the work of its artists, regardless of their backgrounds, ages, nationalities, or the media and topics of their work through its free and different services.
