Nafs is a bilingual (English & Arabic) e-magazine/zine that was created by two Saudi best friends for the sake of providing a judgement-free zone for the younger generation. Their mission is to provide the youth with a platform where they can express themselves freely, share their thoughts and ideas, and connect with a community that shares a love for art. They are dedicated to inspire creatives from all around the world as well as shed light on issues that we believe are neglected by society.
They accept any form of creativity that expresses your “Nafs.” Whatever holds meaning and value to you will be happily published on our platform. That could simply be a poem that you wrote on your way to school, a chunk of clay that you sculpted with a friend, a canvas that you painted for your mom’s birthday, or even an audio of you playing an instrument.
In dedication to their magazine’s concept, they have named their first ever issue (which is going to be released in early September) as “The Soul”. Their upcoming issue focuses on spirituality, identity, mentality, and simply, your soul, everything it comprises of, and everything that affects it.
