Artists Nouf Semari has always wanted to create paintings that are impossible to walk past — paintings that grab and hold your attention. She often tries not to use use the terms "figurative" and "abstract" in describing what she does because she’s always tried to have it both ways.
Nouf Semari grew up in Dhahran, Eastern, and graduated from King Faisal University. She is a self-taught painter who weaves layered narratives within her works with an often-playful tone.
