Artists Nouf Semari has always wanted to create paintings that are impossible to walk past — paintings that grab and hold your attention. And the more you look at it the more satisfying it become for the viewer. And as much time you give to the painting, the more it gives you back. As you have your own conversation with it . She often tries not to use use the terms "figurative" and "abstract" in describing what she does because she’s always tried to have it both ways.

Nouf Semari grew up in Dhahran, Eastern, and graduated from King Faisal University. She is a self-taught painter who weaves layered narratives within her works with an often-playful tone.
