Call for Submissions: Religion Issue

Religion has played a significant role in creating and sustaining different civilizations throughout history. Therefore, religion is not merely a set of beliefs and practices of worship — it is a system that impacts our lives socially, culturally, and politically both individually and collectively. Since our definitions and experiences with religion vary, and different factors contribute to shaping them, we ask you to join us in exploring these unique journeys and practices in our upcoming themed issue: Religion.

Submit your sketches, paintings, collages, photographs, journal entries, articles, videos, and anything in between by April 10, 2021. Kindly read and follow the guidelines below for more information:

General info

1. First and last names (pen names are allowed)

2. Hometown

3. Short bio (interests, background, experience, etc.)

4. Submission title

5. Submission description (what inspired it?)

6. Social media accounts

Submission type

Text: 

Includes poetry, short stories, articles, plays, etc. 

Accepted file types: 

Sent as text or in doc or .docx

 Visuals: 

Includes all types of art, and it must be scanned and sent 300 dpi resolution. 

Accepted file types: 

.pdf, .png, or .jpg

Video:

Includes performance art, short films, documentaries, etc.

Accepted file types:

URLs to uploaded videos on YouTube, Vimeo, etc.

Hybrid:

Includes a combination of the previously mentioned types.

Submitting your work

You are allowed to submit up to 3 submissions. Email general info + submission(s) to contact@wardnt.com by April 10, 2021. You will be contacted regarding the status of your submission as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
