On February, 17, 2018, Ward called for submissions for its first art exhibition titled Adaptation in a Desert of Steel. Through this exhibition, we asked artists to discuss the notion of adaptation that is an essential part of their identities as Saudi based individuals. According to biology, adaptation is the process of change by which an organism or species becomes better suited to its environment.
