Have you read or come across the following quote:"Explanation kills art."? Although we do agree with it to some extent, we believe that the idea or story behind an artworks is essential to the viewer of this work and helps form his/her/their perception of it. On 3 May, 2018, we asked artists and writers to share the stories behind their artworks with us to narrate them in our event Beyond the Frame that hosted art enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.

The event was held at 3alsat7 on June 1, 2018 in the vibrant city of Jeddah. Alongside the performances, Gambo, Sein Art, and Prism Clothing, which are growing art businesses and independent artists, showcased their work in order to support them financially.
