لطالما كانت القراءة مصدر إلهامٍ دائم للفنانين والكتَّاب على حد سواء، لذلك بدأ نادي كتاب مجلة وَرد لإعادة استكشاف كتب من جميع أنحاء العالم، وخاصة الصادر في السعودية من كتاب ناشئين. كما نود أن نبني بيئة محفزة تشجع على التفكير النقدي والنقد البنَّاء، والتي تنبذ أيضًا التلقين. Reading has always been an inspiration to both writers and artists. Hence, this bookclub was established to rediscover books from all over the world, with an emphasis on Saudi-based authors' works. Moreover, we want to build an environment that motivates and encourages critical thinking and constructive criticism, which loathes indoctrination.
