Artist Samiah Khashoggi portrays the impact the digital world has on the children of this generation. She believes it shapes their interests and aspirations. However, she also believes this world is temporary and “similar to bubbles that burst into the air as if they never existed” after a while.
Samiah Khashoggi is an interior designer and artist. She was born in Abha, but she is currently based in Jeddah. Samiah’s academic and creative career includes teaching at Dar Al-Hekma University, curating and exhibiting her and others’ work around Saudi, and creating spaces and groups for Saudi female artists.
