Qibla

Artist Madawe Alubied is an abstractionist whose practice involves breaking down concepts and ideas into colors and symbols. In Qibla, she attempts to combine symbols like the qibla (resembling serenity) and colors like white (resembling purity) to shed light on Islam as a religion of peace mercy.
