Kan yama kan #3: Sometimes, There Are Poems

Kan yama kan is an initiative we created in collaboration with Unootha to highlight the stories of Khaleeji women and the way they tell their stories. 

Our third guest is Dr. Afra Atiq, an award-winning Emirati poet and scholar, and has been featured on stages across the world. Dr. Atiq has completed her PhD in Media and Creative Industries at UAE University. In her workshop, Dr. Afra will guide us through the legacy of poetry and its incredible value, as well as reading some of her work.
