We created Kawalees to highlight the growth in Saudi cinema and document the stories behind it.
We’re thrilled to invite you to our first session of Kawalees with two artists, Sarah Brahim and Mohammad Alfaraj. In this session, we’ll be watching three short films of their creation: The Dance of Olive Trees in the Wind, Roofless,and Farmers’s Ghost. These films were screened at different film festivals, and we’re looking forward to sharing them with you to see them and get to know more about the stories behind them directly from their makers.
