We’re thrilled to share Issue 23 with you, which includes artwork and poems that discuss the digital age, agency, and more. In Issue 24, we talked with artist and dancer Sarah Brahim about using the body as a medium to explore and research different themes, as well as the future of performance art in Saudi as she envisions it. For the Razgi column, Marwa Alqatari takes us in a journey with behind-the-scenes moment of a recent open mic event she participated in. We also reflect on everything we learned from Al Reem Al Beshr the creative process behind experimental filmmaking in our fourth Kan yama kan session. We want to conclude with inviting you to submit to our upcoming issues: General Issues.
We hope you enjoy Issue 24 as much we enjoyed working on it!
Warmly,
Khaled Alqahtani, Founder + Editor-in-Chief

Kan yama kan #4: The Infinite Magic of Experimental Filmmaking
We recently had our fourth session of Kan yama kan with Al Reem Al Beshr, wherein we learned about the magic of filmmaking. Learn more about the session here!
Submit to our upcoming issues!
We release two types of issues: General issues and themed issues. General issues are released monthly, and we accept submissions (literally) 24/7. Themed Issues are released every 3 months, and our upcoming themed issue is the Religion Issue.
General Issues
We believe that art does not come in one shape or medium. We invite all artists who are based in Saudi, regardless of age, nationality, or background, to submit to our General Issues. You’re welcome to submit your work anytime for our monthly general issues here.
